      The author investigates the asymptotic behaviour of the Weyl function to the canonical system, i.e., to the system \[ Jy'=\lambda H(x)y,\quad 0<x<b\leq\infty, \] with \[ J=\begin{pmatrix} 0 & -1 \\ 1 & 0 \\ \end{pmatrix}, \quad H(x)=\begin{pmatrix} h_{11}(x) & h_{12}(x) \\ \overline{h_{12}(x)} & h_{22}(x) \end{pmatrix}, \quad y=\begin{pmatrix} y_1(x) \\ y_2(x) \end{pmatrix}, \] \(\lambda\) is the spectral parameter, \(H(x)\) is a nonnegative matrix-valued function with locally integrable elements.
