This paper is the second part of a study concerning the inversion for a Sturm-Liouville difference equation [For part I see ibid. 246, No. 1, 150-163 (2000; Zbl 0961.39001)]. The main result consists in getting two-side (sharp by order) estimates for the diagonal value of the Green difference function.
