The author considers nonlocal semilinear second-order parabolic equations of the form \[ u_t=L(x,t)u+a(x,t,u,Du,\bar u),\quad x\in \Omega, \] where \(L\) is a (space and time-dependent) elliptic operator, \(a\) is a \(C^1\) function, \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain, and \(\bar u(x,t)=\int_\Omega G(x,y,t,u(y,t))dy\), for some \(C^1\) function \(G\). Usual boundary conditions on \(\partial \Omega\) are considered. The equation is assumed to be periodic in time and qualitative properties of periodic solutions are investigated, in particular, criteria for asymptotic stability are given. Under certain monotonicity assumptions, Krein-Rutman type results are shown for the linearization and spatial homogeneity of stable solutions of homogeneous equations on convex domains is proved.
