Extraordinary strong homology (Q5936533)

Strong shape theory is studied by numerous authors, see \textit{Yu. T. Lisitsa} and \textit{S. Mardešić} [Glas. Mat., III. Ser. 19(39), 335-399 (1984; Zbl 0553.55009)] where other references may also be found. The paper under review develops strong shape for arbitrary topological pro-spaces which yields Lisitsa-Mardešić theory. Moreover, an extraordinary homology for pro-spaces with coefficients in a spectrum is constructed. This construction is isomorphic to Lisitsa-Mardešić strong homology with coefficients in the Eilenberg-MacLane spectrum. Plenty of references to related works including the work of Lisitsa-Mardešić on strong homology are given.
