The authors study a \(d\)-dimensional Modified Jacobi-Perron algorithm considered by Podsypanin and Schweiger. This algorithm consists in deleting the vector which gives the ``second largest coordinate'' at each recurrent step. They call it \(d\)-dimensional Gauss transformation and show that it has similar properties as the 1-dimensional Gauss algorithm has. Especially, they construct a new coordinate system on its natural extension and get an explicit formula for the density of its invariant measure.
