Let \(\varphi\) be a continuous semi-exhaustive plurisubharmonic function in a domain \(\varOmega\subset\mathbb C^n\). For a plurisubharmonic function \(u\) the generalized Lelong number of \(u\) with respect to \(\varphi\) is defined by the formula (introduced by Demailly) \(\nu(u,\varphi):=\lim_{r\to-\infty}\int_{B_r^\varphi} dd^cu\wedge(dd^c\varphi)^{n-1}\), where \(B_r^\varphi:=\{z: \varphi(z)<r\}\). In the case where \(\varphi(z):=\log\|z-x\|\), we get the classical Lelong number \(\nu(u,x)\). In the case where \(\varphi(z):=\max_{k=1,\dots,n}(1/a_k)\log|z_k-x_k|\), we get \(\frac 1{a_1\dots a_n}\nu(u,x,a)\), where \(\nu(u,x,a)\) is the directional Lelong number (introduced by Kiselman) (\(a_1,\dots,a_n>0\)). The author characterizes two large classes of weight functions \(\varphi\) which seem to be very useful in applications: so called almost homogeneous and almost multicircled functions.
