This article describes the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of an integro-differential equation describing the heat flow in a rigid heat conductor with memory as time tends to infinity. The model is based on certain assumptions: the heat flux vector is linearly described, the temperature evolution is governed by the energy balance equation, the heat supply consists of a nonlinear temperature-dependent term and a time-varying source. After the functional setup of the problem presented in section 2, the existence and uniqueness of its solution is described in section 3. Finally, the existence of an absorbing set is proven in section 4 deriving the asymptotic behaviour of the problem.
