Let \(L\) be a rank one even lattice, \(V_L\) the associated vertex operator algebra and \(V_L ^{+}\) the orbifold vertex operator algebra under the canonical automorphism \(\theta\) of \(V_L\). It was proved by \textit{C. Dong} and \textit{K. Nagatomo} [Commun. Math. Phys. 202, 169-195 (1999; Zbl 0929.17033)] that any irreducible \(V_L ^{+}\)-module is either a submodule of an irreducible \(V_L\)-module or a submodule of a \(\theta\)-twisted \(V_L\)-module. In particular, the category of \(V_L ^{+}\)-modules contains only finitely many simple objects. It was also noted that many properties of \(V_L ^{+}\) are closely related to the representation theory of its vertex subalgebra \(M(1) ^{+}\) [cf. \textit{C. Dong} and \textit{K. Nagatomo}, J. Algebra 216, 384-404 (1999; Zbl 0929.17032)]. In the paper under review, the author completely determines fusion rules for irreducible \(V_L ^{+}\)-modules. It turns out that all fusion rules are either zero or one. As a tool, the author uses the fusion rules for irreducible \(M(1) ^{+}\)-modules from his earlier paper [J. Algebra 229, 333-374 (2000; Zbl 1056.17021)].
