On the Kostant-Parthasarathy-Ranga Rao-Varadarajan determinants. III: Computation of the KPRV determinants (Q5946409)

This is the third part of the trilogy (see Zbl 1014.17010 and Zbl 1014.17011 for Parts I and II).NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEIn this third paper the authors give in Theorem~11.1 an explicit formula for the KPRV determinant, constructed in the second paper of the trilogy. To compute the exponents of the factors the authors use the Jantzen filtration method analogous to that used by \textit{V. G. Kac} and \textit{D. A. Kazhdan} for the computation of the determinant of Shapovalov's form in [Adv. Math. 34, 97-108 (1979; Zbl 0427.17011)]. An analogue of the Jantzen sum formula is presented in Proposition~10.5.
