The multiple orthogonal polynomials associated with modified Bessel functions \(K_\nu\) were first introduced by \textit{W. Van Assche} and \textit{S. B. Yakubovich} [Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 9, No. 3, 229-244 (2000; Zbl 0959.42016)]. Consider the scaled Macdonald function \(\rho_\nu\) defined by \(\rho_\nu (x)=2x^{\nu /2}K_\nu (2\sqrt{x})\), \(x>0.\) Using the weight functions \(d\mu _1(x)=x^{\alpha} \rho_\nu (x) dx,\) \(d\mu _2(x)=x^{\alpha} \rho_{\nu +1} (x) dx,\) \((x\in [0,\infty]\), \(\alpha>-1\), \(\nu\geq 0)\) one can define multiple orthogonal polynomial of types I and II. In this paper, the authors obtained explicit expressions for both types I and II multiple orthogonal polynomials and also a generating function of both types of polynomials.
