This paper is a set of interesting comments about the present state of geometry and some of its problems. Its contents goes as follows: A first approach to the nature of mathematics. Some examples of restructuration. Is it possible to give a deep vision of mathematics and its dynamics? The dynamics of important problems. What is geometry? Is geometry in danger? Which geometry, which geometers for tomorrow? These general considerations are illustrated by many examples, many pictures and many quotations, which may be contradictory. The influence of the ideas of Gromov is emphasized. The article is dedicated to S. S. Chern and its reading is both pleasant and interesting.
