Resolvable group-divisible designs with block size four (Q5957700)

It is shown that the necessary conditions \(n\geq 4, hn \equiv 0\pmod 4\), \(h(n-1)\equiv 0\pmod 3\) for the existence of resolvable group-divisible designs with block size four, group-type \(h^n\) and index unity are sufficient for \(h = 3\) except \(n=4\) and possibly except \(n=88,124\); and also for \(h=12\) except possibly \(n=17,18,23,27\).
