The problem of disturbance rejection with simultaneous linear exact model matching for a class of nonlinear systems is considered. Solution of linear model matching via static state feedback (DRLEMM) and via static state and measurement feedback (DRLEMMMF) are studied in section 4 and 5, respectively. In section 4, where one finds a derivation of the DRLEMM design equations, necessary and sufficient conditions, and general solutions for the static feedback control law are developed. In DRLEMM, it is possible not to be able to reject the effect of certain disturbances. The difficulty is overcome by measuring the disturbances that cannot be rejected. This problem is developed in section 5.
