Let \(k\) be an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p\). Let \(B\) be a block ideal of \(kG\) with a defect group \(D\). Let \(H\) be a subgroup of \(G\) containing \(DC_G(D)\) and let \(C\) be a block ideal with defect group \(D\) of \(kH\) such that \(C^G=B\), that is, \(B\) and \(C\) are in Brauer correspondence. The author discusses the relationship between the Hochschild, respectively, the block cohomology algebras of \(B\) and \(C\). We have a \((B,C)\)-bimodule \(L\) obtained by regarding \(C\) as an indecomposable \((kH,kH)\)-bimodule and then letting \(L\) to be the Green correspondent of \(C\) regarded as a \((kG,kH)\)-bimodule. The \(k\)-dual of \(L\) induces the transfer map between the Hochschild cohomology algebras of \(B\) and \(C\). The author shows that under certain conditions, this map restricts to the inclusion map from the cohomology algebras of \(B\) into that of \(C\). Moreover, \(L\) induces a correspondence between indecomposable modules lying in the blocks \(B\) and \(C\), which can be seen as a refinement of the Green correspondence. Finally, the block varieties of modules lying in \(B\) and \(C\) which are in Green correspondence are also investigated. For part I see \textit{H. Kawai} and \textit{H. Sasaki}, ibid. 9, No. 5, 497-511 (2006; Zbl 1118.20013).
