Let \(\{ \varphi_j\}_{j=0}^n\) be a sequence of functions in \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)\) and let \(\Phi=(\varphi_1,\ldots,\varphi_n)^T\) be a shift Riesz generator for the following multiply generated shift-invariant space \[ V(\Phi):=\left\{ \sum_{k\in\mathbb{Z}^d} C(k) T_k \Phi \: : \: C\in(\ell^2)^n \right\}, \] where \(T_x\), \(x\in\mathbb{R}^d\), is the translation operator defined on \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)\) by: \[ T_xf(y)=f(y-x),\quad y\in\mathbb{R}^d. \] The paper under review studies the invariance properties of \(V(\Phi)\) under arbitrary translations and a sufficient condition is given to obtain a sharp estimate of shift-variance measure in multiply generated shift-invariant spaces, extending previous results from the one-generator case studied by the authors in [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 36, No. 3, 514--521 (2014; Zbl 1350.94024)] to the case of the multiply generated Riesz bases.
