Distributions of codimension 2 in Kenmotsu geometry (Q5964915)

\textit{Kenmotsu manifolds} are metric almost contact ones satisfying an extra condition. The authors study the geometry of codimension-two distributions orthogonal to the structure field \(\xi\) on such manifolds. They consider their integrability and provide conditions under which the underlying foliations become Riemannian, that is admits a (given here explicitely) so-called bundle-like metric; they show also the existence of a particular 2-dimensional umbilical distribution.
