Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials and their parabolic analogues play an important role in many aspects of modern representation theory. In this paper, the author considers some quasi-parabolic generalizations of parabolic Kazhdan-Lusztig bases, following an earlier work of Rains and Vazirani. The key step is to define a quasiparabolic bar operator. The author develops a theory of ``quasiparabolic Kazhdan-Lusztig bases'' under the hypothesis that such a bar operator exists and proves that a bar operator in the desired sense does exist for quasiparabolic \(W\)-sets given by twisted conjugacy classes of twisted involutions.
