In this paper the author studies topological vector spaces problems in homology and homotopy theories with applications to geometric integration theory and geometric measure theory problems. Data interesting here are: domains of integration, integrands and integration itself. The lack of symmetry between polyhedral chains as domain of integration and differential forms as integrands is solved after considering the topological spaces of the de Rham differential forms and forms with compact supports and their strong duals (currents with compact supports and currents, respectively). First, in the introduction, the author describes with examples \(k\)-homology and \(k\)-cohomology for a manifold with emphasis on simplicial \(k\)-chains with coefficients in \(\mathbb Z\) or \(\mathbb R\), differential \(k\)-forms and integration of such forms over chains. The purpose of the paper is to point out a deep connection between the three data. The connection is expressed not only by homological and cohomological properties of manifolds, but also by non-trivial homotopy properties. From simple examples the author derives ideas for more general situations in geometric topology. Topological vector spaces of differential forms and currents on manifolds are constructed (de Rham chain complexes of forms with coefficients in Schwartz distributions with compact supports and of forms with coefficients in Schwartz distributions-generalized functions). The topological spaces involved are hereditarily reflexive because they are complete barreled nuclear spaces whose strong duals are complete and nuclear. Problems on \(\mathbb R\) and \(\mathbb Q\) homotopy, proper \(\mathbb R\) and \(\mathbb Q\) homotopy and proper \(\mathbb R\) and \(\mathbb Q\) homotopy at infinity are also considered as well as the coalgebra structure on vector spaces of currents and currents with compact supports. The Minimal Models Theory of Quillen and Sullivan is also used in this study. The classical theorem in mathematical analysis concerning derivation of additive functions with respect to volumes in points is generalized to a theorem on derivation of continuous \(m\)-forms with compact supports of an oriented \(n\)-dimensional manifold \(M\) with respect to its \(m\)-dimensional oriented submanifolds \(V\) in compact regular oriented \(k\)-submanifolds \(L\) of \(M\).
