This paper further investigates the Ádám's conjecture, which even though has been disproved independently by many authors. They provided self-reverse counterexamples to Ádám's conjecture. The author considers a novel and interesting problem that if there are counterexamples where each arc-reversal (strictly) increases the number of directed cycles. As a by-product, the author constructs an infinite family of bipartite, arc-transitive, directed graphs with parallel arcs such that any arc reversal increases the number of directed cycles. Personally, I think this consideration may provide a guide for scholars to study some classical conjectures, proved or not.
