In this paper, the author studies a class of first order neutral delay differential equations and investigates sufficient conditions for all solutions to be oscillatory. This result solves an open problem in the literature. In this paper, the author treats the following neutral delay differential equation \[ [x(t)-x(\tau(t))]'+Q(t)x(\sigma(t))=0 \] for \(t>t_0 > 0\), where \(Q(t) \in C([t_0, \infty);\mathbb{R}^{+}),\) \( \tau(t), \sigma(t) \in C([t_0, \infty);\mathbb{R}) \) are strictly increasing, \(\tau(t) < t\) and \(\sigma(t) < t\).
