The authors study the Cauchy problem for non-instantaneous impulsive Caputo-type fractional differential equations with almost sectorial operators. The results concerning the existence of mild solutions for the given problem in a Banach space are proved by using fixed point theorems due to Darbo-Sadovskii and Schauder. The existence of a unique solution to the problem at hand is shown by means of Banach contraction mapping principle. The paper does not contain examples illustrating the obtained results.
