In this paper, the authors study the limit cycles of a class of continuous piecewise differential systems in the plane separated by a non-regular line. More precisely, the continuous piecewise systems are formed by an arbitrary quadratic center in the first quadrant, an arbitrary linear center in the second quadrant and the linear center \(\dot{x}=-y\), \(\dot{y}=x\) in the half plane \(y\leq0\). They show that this class of systems has at most two crossing limit cycles and find an example of such systems with one crossing limit cycle.
