Let \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}_2\) be the (\(n+2\))-dimensional real vector space \(\mathbb{R}^{n+2}\) endowed with the metric \[ ds^2=-dx_1^2-dx_2^2+\sum_{i=3}^{n+2}dx_i^2. \] Then the hyperquadric \(\{x\in\mathbb{R}^{n+2}_2|ds^2(x)=-1\}\) is called the (unit) anti-de Sitter space and is denoted by \(\mathbb{H}^{n+1}_1\). The main goal of the authors is to study the uniqueness of complete space-like hypersurfaces immersed in the anti-de Sitter space. The paper is organized in four sections. The introduction and the preliminaries section are devoted to the history of the subject and some prerequisites and definitions. In the third section, the authors quote some key lemmas to be used to prove their main results. In the fourth section they state and prove the main results, in particular, a result about the uniqueness of complete space-like hypersurfaces immersed in the anti-de Sitter space \(\mathbb{H}^{n+1}_1\). The proof uses the behavior of their higher order mean curvatures. Their approach involves applying a maximum principle related to smooth vector fields with Lebesgue integrable norms on a complete Riemannian manifold. They deduce the nullity of complete \(r\)-maximal space-like hypersurfaces and, notably, they establish a nonexistence result for complete 1-maximal spacelike hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{H}^{n+1}_1\). The paper is well written.
