This paper extends the functorial construction of a moduli space of pure sheaves in [\textit{L. Álvarez-Cónsul} and \textit{A. King}, Invent. Math. 168, No. 3, 613--666 (2007; Zbl 1137.14026)] to the parabolic case. A parabolic sheaf is the data of a pure sheaf on a projective scheme \(X\) plus a weighted filtration of subsheaves along an effective divisor \(D\) of \(X\) (see section 2 for definitions and the notion of parabolic semistability and slope). Section 3 recovers the notion of Kronecker module which is a module over the path algebra of the Kronecker quiver (a quiver with two vertices and an arrow between them). Extending this idea to the parabolic setting, Propositions 3.5 and 3.6 show the existence of an embedding of categories between parabolic sheaves and parabolic filtered Kronecker modules. The goal is to embed the moduli problem into the Kronecker modules category, where the machinery of quiver representations in [\textit{A. D. King}, Q. J. Math., Oxf. II. Ser. 45, No. 180, 515--530 (1994; Zbl 0837.16005)] is used to construct the moduli space as a GIT quotient. To do this, section 4 carefully checks the relationship (Theorem 4.11) between the notion of stability for parabolic sheaves and another one for Kronecker modules (c.f. subsection 4.1). Finally, section 5 (Theorems 5.2 and 5.4) show the existence of a moduli space of parabolic sheaves, which is projective following Langton's argument. Section 6 extends the functorial relation for semistable objects in the moduli spaces to the stack level.
