Invariant algebraic manifolds for the Rucklidge model of double convection (Q6046801)

The authors consider a three-dimensional quadratic system of ordinary differential equations. Of particular interest is the characterization of invariant algebraic manifolds of the system, which provides important information of the dynamics of the system. Explicit solutions are obtained with trajectories lying on invariant algebraic manifolds. The work is a nice extension of the one done in the reference [\textit{M. F. S. Lima} et al., Nonlinear Dyn. 77, No. 4, 1441--1453 (2014; Zbl 1331.34050)], which provides complementary information of the underlying system.
