Dirichlet type extensions of Euler sums (Q6049255)

The authors give series expansions of parametric digamma function and parametric cotangent function. These series expansions are further used in the paper in order to study the alternating Euler type sums and alternating Euler type sums. By applying the method of residue computations to specific kernel functions and base functions, the authors give some formulas on the related sums, which reduce to expressions of the linear and quadratic (alternating) Euler type sums. Some special cases of these formulas are discussed. By establishing the transformation formulas between various Euler sums and multiple values, the parity theorems of Hoffman's double and triple t-values, and Kaneko-Tsumura's double and triple T-values are also given by the authors. By using the method of residue theorem, the authors gave other quadratic Euler type sums with their properties.
