The authors establish the existence of fractal interpolation functions over countable data sets using Rakotch contractions. Besides the set-valued attractor \(G\), the existence of a measure-theoretic attractor supported \(G\) is also established. Estimates for the Hausdorff and box dimension for the graphs of such fractal interpolation functions are presented. Examples of this type of fractal interpolation function are also given.
