Laistrygonian Nichols algebras, \(\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{L}_q(1,\mathcal{G}))\), where \(\mathcal{G}\in \mathbb N\), \(\mathbb K\) is an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and \(q\in \mathbb K^\times\) appear in the classification of Nichols algebras with finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension in [\textit{N. Andruskiewitsch} et al., On finite GK-dimensional Nichols algebras over abelian groups. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2021; Zbl 1507.16002)]. In this paper, the authors study the properties of this kind of algebras. It is shown that it is an iterated Ore extension (hence strongly noetherian, AS-regular and Cohen-Macaulay) and it can be realized as an extension of braided Hopf algebras. The classification of finite-dimensional simple \(\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{L}_q(1,\mathcal{G}))\)-modules is obtained in Section 3, these simple modules reduces to those of the quantum plane. Next section is devoted to the study of twistings of the multiplication in order to study the relation between different Laistrygonian Nichols algebras. In the last section, point modules, i.e., cyclic graded modules generated in degree \(0\) and with all graded components of \(\mathbb K\)-dimension \(1\), are studied. It is obtained that the isomorphic classes of point modules are parametrized by the projective subvariety of \(\mathbb P^2\) of zeros of \(X_0X_2\).
