In [\textit{B. Bordin} et al., in: Trends in approximation theory. Papers from the international symposium in honor of the 60th birthday of Larry L. Schumaker, Nashville, TX, USA, May 17--20, 2000. Nashville, TX: Vanderbilt University Press. 39--48 (2001; Zbl 1051.42016); \textit{A. Kushpel} and \textit{S. Tozoni}, in: Advances in analysis. Stabile} and \textit{S. A. Tozoni}, J. Approx. Theory 235, 92--115 (2018; Zbl 1400.41024)], the asymptotic behavior of entropy numbers of multiplier operators was studied, using different techniques. In the papers [\textit{A. Kushpel} and \textit{S. A. Tozoni}, Constr. Approx. 35, No. 2, 137--180 (2012; Zbl 1242.41026); \textit{R. L. B. Stabile} and \textit{S. A. Tozoni}, J. Approx. Theory 235, 92--115 (2018; Zbl 1400.41024)] sharp estimates were obtained for entropy numbers of sets of infinitely differentiable functions and of analytic functions, on two points homogeneous spaces and on the torus. Entropy numbers of multiplier operators for Vilenkin-Fourier series, for the trigonometric system on the circle, for the Haar system and for sets of finitely and infinitely differentiable functions, in the dyadic sense on [0, 1), were studied in [\textit{J. Milaré} et al., J. Approx. Theory 285, Article ID 105837, 23 p. (2023; Zbl 1527.41008)]. Estimates for entropy numbers of different operators and embeddings between function spaces of the types Besov and Sobolev with mixed smoothness were studied [\textit{A. Kushpel} et al., Turk. J. Math. 45, No. 1, 167--184 (2021; Zbl 1522.41012); \textit{S. Mayer} and \textit{T. Ullrich}, Constr. Approx. 53, No. 2, 249--279 (2021; Zbl 1466.41014); \textit{T. Mieth}, J. Approx. Theory 192, 250--272 (2015; Zbl 1334.46032); \textit{V. Temlyakov}, J. Approx. Theory 217, 26--56 (2017; Zbl 1366.41019); \textit{H. P. Wang} et al., Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 30, No. 1, 51--60 (2014; Zbl 1284.41018)]. Recently, much attention has been devoted to the study of entropy numbers of different sets of functions. This problem has a long history and some fundamental problems in this area are still open. In the article under review, the authors continue the development of methods of estimating entropy of multiplier operators begun in 1992 by \textit{A. K. Kushpel'} in [\textit{A. Kushpel} and \textit{S. Tozoni}, in: Advances in analysis. Proceedings of the 4th international ISAAC congress, Toronto, Canada, August 11--16, 2003. Hackensack, NJ: World Scientific. 89--98 (2005; Zbl 1105.46016); Ukr. Math. J. 45, No. 1, 59--65 (1993; Zbl 0805.42003); translation from Ukr. Mat. Zh. 45, No. 1, 54--59 (1993)] and used in [\textit{A. Kushpel} and \textit{S. A. Tozoni}, Constr. Approx. 35, No. 2, 137--180 (2012; Zbl 1242.41026)] to obtain estimates of entropy numbers of different sets of functions on homogeneous spaces. The approach is based on estimates for Levy means of norms constructed using an orthonormal system of functions on a probability space. To prove the results for general multiplier operators they make use of deep results from Banach space geometry in [\textit{G. Pisier}, The volume of convex bodies and Banach space geometry. Cambridge etc.: Cambridge University Press (1989; Zbl 0698.46008)] and in the paper of \textit{A. Pajor} and \textit{N. Tomczak-Jaegermann} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 97, 637--642 (1986; Zbl 0623.46008)].
