The authors propose a way to deal with the differential of less regular functions in the non-smooth setting, by giving a meaning to a concept of `measure acting in duality with sections of a given bundle'. The tools and results provided in this paper can be used for studying the fine structure of RCD spaces. The paper can be seen as a continuation of second author's work [Nonsmooth differential geometry -- an approach tailored for spaces with Ricci curvature bounded from below. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2018; Zbl 1404.53056)] on \(L^p(m)\)-normed \(L^\infty(m)\)-modules. The main idea here is to study the `normed \(\mathcal R\)-module'. The paper is self-contained, with many interesting examples. It is a tool box for researchers in the field of nonsmooth metric measure geometry.
