Shen-Larsson's modules for simple generalized Witt algebras (Q6070276)

The Witt algebra \(W_n\) is the Cartan type Lie algebra of vector fields on the \(n\)-dimensional torus with Laurent polynomial coefficients and can also be interpreted as the Lie algebra of derivations of Laurent polynomial algebra with \(n\) variables. The present authors extend the Shen-Larsson's construction for Witt algebras to simple generalized Witt algebras and construct a class of modules for these algebras. They determine the irreducibility and isomorphism of these modules under certain countability conditions, obtaining a large family of irreducible weight modules other than highest weight modules and many irreducible non-weight modules over the simple generalized Witt algebras.
