A quasi-Banach space \(X\) with an unconditional basis is said to have a unique unconditional basis up to permutation if for any two normalized unconditional bases of \(X\) there exists an automorphism of \(X\) which take one basis to a permutation of the other. The space \(\ell_1(c_0)\) has a unique unconditional basis up to permutation [\textit{J.\,Bourgain, P.\,G.\thinspace Casazza, J.\,Lindenstrauss} and \textit{L.\,Tzafriri}, ``Banach spaces with a unique unconditional basis, up to permutation'' (Mem.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 54) (1985; Zbl 0575.46011)]. The same holds for \(\ell_p(c_0)\) when \(p<1\) [\textit{F.\,Albiac} and \textit{C.\,Leránoz}, Stud.\ Math.\ 150(1), 35--52 (2002; Zbl 1031.46006)]. In the paper under review, the authors give a much simpler proof of their result.
