The authors deal with a two-species chemotaxis Navier-Stokes system with singular sensitivity under the homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a bounded domain \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^2\) with smooth boundary \[ \begin{cases} (n_1)_t+u\cdot\nabla n_1=\Delta n_1-\chi_1\nabla\cdot(\frac{n_1}{c}\nabla c)+n_1(a_1-b_1n_1-c_1n_2),&\text{ in } Q, \\ (n_2)_t+u\cdot\nabla n_2=\Delta n_2-\chi_2\nabla\cdot(\frac{n_2}{c}\nabla c)+n_2(a_2-c_2n_1-b_2n_2),&\text{ in } Q, \\ c_t+u\cdot\nabla c=\Delta c-(\alpha n_1+\beta n_2)c,&\text{ in } Q, \\ u_t+(u\cdot\nabla)u=\Delta u+\nabla P+(n_1+n_2)\nabla\Phi,\nabla\cdot u=0,&\text{ in } Q, \end{cases} \] where \(Q =\Omega\times(0,\infty)\) and \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^2\) is a bounded convex domain with smooth boundary, \(b_1, b_2, \alpha, \beta\) are positive constants, \(a_1, a_2 c_1, c_2\) are nonnegative constants. For any appropriately regular initial data, the authors prove that the system has a global classical solution when \(\chi :=\max\{\chi_1, \chi_2\} < 1\). Moreover, they show the global boundedness of the solution for sufficiently large \(b_1\) and \(b_2\).
