\textit{J. Dousse} and \textit{B. Kim} [Ramanujan J. 42, No. 2, 267--283 (2017; Zbl 1356.05012)] introduced the over \(q\)-binomial coefficients as overpartition analogues of \(q\)-binomial coefficients, which are defined as generating functions for the number of overpartitions fitting inside the \(N \times M\) rectangle. \textit{H. Belbachir} and \textit{A. Benmezai} [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 352, No. 3, 167--171 (2014; Zbl 1294.11013)] proved that the \(q\text{-bi}^s\)nomial coefficients are the generating functions of the number of partitions in which no part appears more than \(s\) times, fitting inside a \((N-1)\times M\) rectangle. In this paper, the authors investigate overpartition analogues of \(q\text{-bi}^s\)nomial coefficients as generating functions for the number of overpartitions fitting inside the \((N-1)\times M\) rectangle in which no part appears more than \(s\) times.
