In the paper under review, the author proves some product formulas. For example, taking \[ f(n)=\sum_{\substack{ d\mid n\\ d\equiv 1\pmod 2}} \mu(n/d) (-1)^{(d+1)/2+1}, \] then \[ e^{\pi}=\prod_{n=1}^{\infty}\left(1-\frac{1}{{\sqrt{3^n}}}\right)^{-6f(n)/n}. \] In addition, letting \(f_0(n,k)\) be the function taking rational values such that for all positive integers \(u,~v\) one has \[ \sum_{\substack{mn=u\\ mk=v}} \frac{f_0(n,k)}{m}=1, \] then for \(|x|<1\) one has \[ \prod_{\ell-1}^{\infty} (1-x^{\ell})^{c(\ell)}=\exp\left\{\sum_{m=1}^{\infty} \tau(m) x^m\right\}, \] where \(\tau(m)\) is the Ramanujan \(\tau\) function and \[ c_{\ell}=-\frac{1}{756} \sum_{n\mid \ell} \frac{\phi(n)\ell^5}{n^6} \left(65\left(\frac{\ell}{n}\right)^6+691\right)+\frac{691}{3} \sum_{mn+rk=\ell} (mr)^5 f_0(n,k). \] The proofs are based on suitable generalizations of an exercise from Apostol's book [\textit{T. M. Apostol}, Introduction to analytic number theory. New York-Heidelberg-Berlin: Springer-Verlag (1976; Zbl 0335.10001)].
