Let \(K\) be an imaginary quadratic field with discriminant \(d_K\) and ring of integers \(\mathcal{O}_K\). Cohen and Resnikoff showed that there exists a free \(\mathcal{O}_K\)-module \(\Lambda\) of rank \(r\), which is even and satisfies \(\det\Lambda=(2\sqrt{d_K})^r\) if and only if \(r \equiv 0\pmod 4\). An explicit description of the isometry classes of these lattices has been obtained only for the Gaussian field \(\mathbb Q(i)\). For example, A. Schiemann studied the cases \(r=4,8\) and showed that 1 resp. 3 isometry classes exist. \textit{M. Kitazume} and \textit{A. Munemasa} [J. Number Theory 95, No. 1, 77--94 (2002; Zbl 1075.11048)] proved that 28 isometry classes exists in the case \(r=2\). The authors study the case \(K=\mathbb Q(i\sqrt{3})\) (Eisenstein's number field). The result is as follows. There is exactly one isometry class for \(r=4\) and \(r=8\) and there exist just 5 isometry classes if \(r=12\). As an application, they show the existence of nonvanishing Hermitian cusp forms.
