    Let \(\Lambda\) be a special lattice and \(\Lambda^*\) be its dual lattice. Assume that \(\lambda =(\lambda_1,\dots ,\lambda_m)\in\mathbb R_+^m\) and \(\mu =(\mu_1,\dots ,\mu_n)\in\mathbb R_+^n\). Set \(\lambda_j^*=\lambda_j^{-1}\prod_{j=1}^m \lambda_j \prod_{j=1}^n \mu_j\), \(j=1,\dots ,m\) and \(\mu_j^*=\mu_j^{-1}\prod_{j=1}^m \lambda_j \prod_{j=1}^n \mu_j\), \(j=1,\dots ,n\). Let us define the parallelepiped \(P(\lambda,\mu)= (z_1,\dots ,z_{m+n})\) where \(\mid z_j\mid \leq \lambda_j\), \(j=1,\dots ,m\) and \(\mid z_{m+i}\mid \leq \mu_i\), \(i=1,\dots ,n\). Let \(L=(L_1,\dots ,L_m)\) be defined with the help of \(\lambda\). If \(P(\lambda^*,\mu^*)\cap\Lambda^*\not= \{ 0\}\) then the author proves that \((n+1)^{\frac 1{2n}}P(\Lambda,\mu)\cap\Lambda^*\not= \{ 0\}\).
