For elements \(A\) and \(B\) of a factor von Neumann algebra \(\mathcal{A}\) with \(\dim\mathcal{A}\geq 2\), a bi-skew Jordan product is defined by the formula \(A\triangle B=A^\ast B+B^\ast A\). The main result of the paper is the following:\par \textbf{Theorem}: Let \(\mathcal{A}\) and \(\mathcal{B}\) be two factor von Neumann algebras and let \(\dim\mathcal{A}\geq 2\). If a bjective map \(\varPhi\colon\,\mathcal{A}\rightarrow\mathcal{B}\) satisfies \(\varPhi(A\triangle B\triangle C)=\varPhi(A)\varPhi(B)\varPhi(C)\) for any \(A\), \(B\), \(C\in\mathcal{A}\), then either \(\varPhi\) is a linear \(\ast\)-isomorphism, or a conjugate linear \(\ast\)-isomorphism, or the negative of a linear \(\ast\)-isomorphism, or the negative of a conjugate linear \(\ast\)-isomorphism.
