The present paper is devoted to the study of differential forms on Riemann manifolds. As well known, differential forms play an important role in the study of mappings with bounded and finite distortion. The main result of the authors is the following. Given a non-compact Riemann manifold \({\mathcal M}\) of dimension \(n\), consider the class \({\mathcal F}\) of all differential forms \(Z\in W_{p, loc}^1({\mathcal M})\), \(\deg Z=k-1\), such that \(dZ=\omega\) is weakly continuous and satisfies the conditions \(\omega\in L_{loc}^p({\mathcal M})\) and \(\deg \omega=k\), \(0\leq k\leq n\), \(p>1\). Suppose \(Z\in{\mathcal F}_B\), where \({\mathcal F}_B\) is some subset of \({\mathcal F}\) satisfying a special boundary condition. Then, for some \(h_0\), all \(\tau\in (0, h_0)\), and arbitrary \(\tau_0\), we have \[ \frac{d}{d\tau}\left(I(\tau)\exp\left\{-\nu_1\int\limits_{\tau_0}^{\tau} \varepsilon(t, {\mathcal F}_B) dt\right\}\right)\geq 0, \] where \[ I(\tau)=\int\limits_{B_h(\tau)}|\omega|^p\ast 1, \] \(\varepsilon\) is the characteristic function defined by \[ \varepsilon(\tau, {\mathcal F}_B)=\inf\frac{\int\limits_{\Sigma_h(\tau)}|\omega|^p|\nabla h|^{-1}d{\mathcal H}_{\mathcal M}^{n-1}}{\left|\int\limits_{\Sigma_h(\tau)}\left<Z\ast \theta\right>d{\mathcal H}^{n-1}_{\mathcal M}\right|}, \] the infimum is taken over all \(Z\in {\mathcal F}_B ({\mathcal M)}\), \(Z\neq 0\), and where \(B_h(\tau)\) and \(\Sigma_h(\tau)\) denote the ball and the sphere of radius \(h\) centered at \(\tau\), respectively; see Theorem 5.1. The authors also prove some analogue of the Phragmen-Lindelöf theorem, see Theorem 5.4. All results are applicable to many problems of mathematical analysis on manifolds.
