Oscillatory solutions of differential equations with several discrete delays and generalized ODEs (Q6111149)

In this paper, the authors study oscillation of differential equations with several discrete delays and generalized ODEs. It contains the following results: (1) a relation between the solutions of an impulsive delay differential equation and the solutions of its corresponding auxiliary delay differential equation; (2) conditions for all solutions of a delay differential equation to oscillate; (3) a relation between oscillatory solutions around zero of retarded Volterra-Stieltjestype integral equations and oscillatory solutions around zero of the corresponding generalized ODEs; (4) conditions for all solutions of a linear homogeneous generalized ODE to oscillate (not necessarily around zero). Nice examples are presented to show the significance of the results. In my opinion, this paper may motivate researchers to continue the study on other types of equations, including differential and difference equations, and dynamic equations on time scales.
