Explicit generators of the centre of the quantum group (Q6114020)

In the paper under review, the author provides explicit generators of the center of any generalized quantum group. Here a generalized quantum group is a slight modification of a standard quantum group by using group-like generators \(K_\mu\) for \(\mu\) in the weight lattice instead of \(K_\alpha\) for \(\alpha\) in the root lattice. Moreover, a finite generating set of the center is shown to be algebraically independent, which implies that the center is isomorphic to a polynomial algebra.
