In this paper the authors obtain explicit expressions for the central elements of the quantum group \( \mathcal{U}_q \left( \mathrm{gl}(N+1) \right) \), in terms of the respective generators. The authors follow Drinfeld's central element construction except that the fused R-matrix is used instead of the universal one.
