For real reductive groups, unitarily induced representations decompose into an integral of irreducible unitary representations, also referred to as the Plancherel formula. For \(L^2(G/H, \psi) = \textrm{Ind}_N^G(\psi)\), where \(N\) is a maximal unipotent subgroup and \(\psi: N \rightarrow \mathbb{T}\) a unitary character, this is called the Whittaker Plancherel formula. In this paper the authors study the Plancherel formula when \(N\) is not maximal. More precisely, they study the case when \(G\) is of tube type and \(N\) is the unipotent radical of the Siegel parabolic subgroup \(P = MAN\). The authors find the contribution of the holomorphic discrete series to the Plancherel formula of \(L^2(G/H, \psi)\). They use generalized Whittaker vectors, a type of distribution vectors, and realize them explicitly. Then they prove the existence of and find constants for the formal dimension and find explicit inner products for orthogonality relations involving \(L^2(G/H, \psi)\) and the holomorphic discrete series. After this, they give formulas for the lowest \(K\)-type in \(L^2(G/N, \psi)\) using the integral kernel. A decomposition of a related Hardy type space is also given, together with an isometry onto the holomorphic discrete series contribution to \(L^2(G/N, \psi)\).
