The authors study the global behavior of positive solutions set of one-dimensional \(p\)-Laplacian problem \((|u'|^{p-2}u')'+ \lambda m(x) f(u)=0, \ x\in (0,1)\), \(u(0)=u(1)=0\), where \(m:(0,1)\to R\) changes sign. They show that there exists a reversed \(S\)-shaped connected component of positive solutions. The proof of the main result is based upon bifurcation technique.
