Invariants of polynomial vector fields (Q6155303)

This paper characterizes the existence of first integrals (depending on time) and invariants for polynomial vector fields which are invariant under an involution. Starting with the basics and assumptions, the motivation of the work is explained. The first main result of the paper concerns the existence of first integrals and invariants of Darboux polynomials. Having then introduced the concepts of ``time reversibility'' and ``time equivariance'' the authors extend the results to this case. Next, the results are established in the case of exponential factors instead of Darboux polynomials. Then, the results are extended for the time-reversibility and time-equivariance case. Suitable illustrations are provided throughout to support the main results obtained. The results in this paper are of interest to researchers in polynomial vector fields.
