Looking at a linear parabolic problem posed in an homogeneous (i.e. non-perforataed) domain, the authors study the quantitative homogenization of second-order parabolic systems with locally periodic (in both space and time) coefficients. Moreover, oscillations are allowed to arise in both the space and the time variable. The transient layers are also taken into account in the corrector estimates.
