Let \(D:=D(\gamma_0; \gamma_1, \ldots, \gamma_n)\) be a finitely connected domain, where \(\gamma_0, \gamma_1, \ldots, \gamma_n\) are \(C^\infty\) smooth Jordan curves such that \(\gamma_0\) is the outer boundary of \(D\) and the inner boundaries are formed by curves \(\gamma_1, \ldots, \gamma_n\) which have disjoint closures. By \(H(D)\) let denote the space of all holomorphic functions in \(D\). For a function \(F\) holomorphic in a neighborhood of the boundary in the domain \(D\) (\(F=F_0 \oplus F_1 \oplus\ldots\oplus F_n\), and \(F_i\) is holomorphic in a neighborhood of the curve \(\gamma_i\) in \(D\), \(i = 0, 1,\ldots, n\)), the Author defines the Toeplitz operator \(T_F\) with symbol \(F\) by \[(T_F f)(z):=\sum_{i=0}^{n}\frac{1}{2\pi i}\int_{(\gamma_i)_\varepsilon} \frac{F_i(\zeta)\cdot f(\zeta)}{\zeta-z}\,d\zeta, \quad f\in H(D),\] where \((\gamma_i)_\varepsilon\), denotes 'an appropriately defined dilatations of the curve \(\gamma_i\)'. With some additonal assumptions on symbol \(F\), the Author shows that the operator \(T_F\) is left invertible if and only if it is an injective Fredholm operator, and the operator \(T_F\) is right invertible if and only if it is an surjective Fredholm operator.
