The aim of the paper under review is a classification of non-purely non-symplectic automorphisms of odd order on a \(K3\) surface. In the main theorem, the author presents that the possible orders of such automorphism are \(15\) and \(21\), and the set of fixed points depending on the action of an automorphism on a nowhere-vanishing holomorphic two-form \(\omega_X\) on a \(K3\) surface \(X\). Besides, there are given examples of \(K3\) surfaces admitting such an automorphism of order \(15\) as weighted hypersurfaces. The demonstration opens by the determination of the order, which is by virtue of classification and criterion results in classical studies. The main part of the proof is to determine the set of fixed points. Essentially, in using topological and holomorphic Lefschetz formula, the classification is reduced to a numerical analysis on the number of isolated fixed points of type \(P_{i,j}\). In case of order 15, the action on \(\omega_X\) is the product by the primitive third or fifth root of unity, while in case of order 21, the action is by the primitive seventh root of unity. In fact, following Bell et. al., there is no automorphism of order 21 on a \(K3\) surface acting on \(\omega_X\) as the product by the primitive third root of unity. In conclusion, the fixed loci of non-purely non-symplectic automorphisms of odd order on a \(K3\) surface are the sets of distinct points, which completes a characterization of this class of automorphisms.
