A fractional porous medium equation (Q616888)

The authors study the nonlinear differential equation \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}+ (-\Delta)^\frac{1}{2}\left(|u|^{m-1}u\right)=0, \;\;x\in \mathbb{R}^N, \;t>0 \] with the square root of the minus Laplace operator, which comes from the models of porous medium with fractional diffusion. They consider the existence, uniqueness and regularity problems for the Cauchy problem \(u(x,0)=f(x)\) for this equation.
