Let \(\Sigma\) be a properly embedded smooth hypersurface in the unit ball \(\mathbb{B}^{n+1}\) (\(n\geq 2\)) satisfying \(\partial \Sigma \subset \partial \mathbb{B}^{n+1}\). For \(\theta \in (0, \pi )\), suppose that \(\Sigma\) has \(\theta\)-capillary boundary, that is, \(\Sigma\) intersects \(\partial \mathbb{B}^{n+1}\) at the constant contact angle \(\theta\). The mean curvature type flow with \(\theta\)-capillary boundary given in [\textit{G. Wang} and \textit{C. Xia}, Commun. Anal. Geom. 30, No. 9, 2157--2174 (2022; Zbl 1526.53090); \textit{G. Wang} and \textit{L. Weng}, Calc. Var. Partial Differ. Equ. 59, No. 5, Paper No. 149 (2020; Zbl 1448.53089)] preserves the volume of the enclosed domain. If \(\Sigma\) is strictly convex, then the authors show that the solution of the flow with initial hypersurface \(\Sigma\) exists for any positive time so that the hypersurface at any time \(t>0\) is strictly convex and that the solution converges smoothly to a spherical cap as \(t\rightarrow \infty\) (see Theorem 1.1). As an application, the authors show new Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities related to the quermassintegrals for convex hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{B}^{n+1}\) with \(\theta\)-capillary boundary (Theorem 1.2). See [\textit{J. Scheuer}, \textit{G. Wang} and \textit{C. Xia}, J. Differ. Geom. 120, No. 2, 345--373 (2022; Zbl 1494.53045); \textit{L. Weng} and \textit{C. Xia}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 375, No. 12, 8851--8883 (2022; Zbl 1512.53039)] for the quermassintegrals.
